Licensed Funeral Director
Certified Preplanning Specialist
Personal Keys to Success
A note from Kristy:
My family moved to Princeton, Wisconsin in 1991 from Illinois. I graduated from Princeton High School in 1996 and attended Marian College in Fond du Lac from 1996-2000 majoring in Psychology. I was
led into the funeral services career midway through Marian College in 1998 when I became a Funeral Director Apprentice for Uecker-Witt Funeral Home in Fond du lac. In 2000, I moved to West
Allis and attended MATC from 2000-2003 majoring in Funeral Service.
While waiting to take my State of WI and National Funeral Director Board Exams in 2003, I recieved my license as a WI Agent for Burial Agreement and became a Preplanning Specialist until I was officially a Licensed Funeral Director. I moved to Ripon in 2004 and began working as a Preplanning Specialist at Wachholz Family Funeral Home and accepted the position as a Licensed Funeral Director/ Manager in 2005. I actively managed the three funeral homes until resigning in 2008. In October 2012, I was extremely blessed to have an opportunity to own my own funeral home. Divine Passage Funeral Home opened on February 25, 2013.
I am a faithful church member at Ripon Community Church. I enjoy serving my community as a member of Rotary and Kiwanis. I have been Secretary for the Ripon Noon Kiwanis and received an Distinguish Secretary Award as well as Outstanding Kiwanian Award. In 2009, I co-charter the Ripon Aktion Club, a Kiwanis leadership program for adults with developmental disabilities held at Diverse Options. I am also a proud member and Recording Secretary for the Green Lake American Legion Auxillary and have a passion for serving my wonderful community.
I am very grateful to be blessed with the skills necessary to make me the best funeral director I can be. I am very passionate and will always serve families as if they were my own. The feeling of pride is overwhelming when I know I have done my job to the fullest in assisting families through one of the toughest times in their lives and they are very thankful for all I do for them.
