Milton Wallace Turner, age 78, of Oshkosh, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 10, 2016 with his family by his side. Milton was born on September 16, 1937 in Almond, WI; the son of Robert and Louise (Christensen) Turner. He graduated from Oshkosh High School, Class of 1956. Milton served his country in the US Army from January 21, 1957 to January 20, 1963. He was united in marriage to Sandra Sieger on May 9, 1964 at Grace Lutheran Church in Omro. She preceded him in death on March 14, 2006.
Milton was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Omro. He worked at Rockwell in Oshkosh as a Machinist for over 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed farming, cutting wood and tinkering with his machinery.
Milton is survived by his son, Michael (Connie) Turner of Ripon; daughter, Cindy (Ron Mack) Jordan of Winneconne; five grandchildren: Kyle, Alex and Kim Turner, Jeremy (Rachel Spierings) Elmer, and Nichole Salem; three great grandchildren: Rook Elmer, Chantelle and Alexis Cosme; three sisters, Joan (Dennis) Schmick, Carol(Chris) Krueger, and Zita (Bill) Bacon; very special friend of 9 special years, Peggy Buelow. He is further survived by other relatives and dear friends. Milton is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise; step-mother, Dorothy Turner; wife, Sandra; and sister, Eleanor Bergquist.
Funeral Services for Milton will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Divine Passage Funeral Home, 175 N Douglas Street, Ripon with Rev. Dr. Kevin Mundell officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 10:00am until the time of the services. Burial will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park in Oshkosh after the funeral service with full Military Honors.
