Beverly J. Jaworski, age 86, of Ripon, joined our Heavenly Father in eternal peace on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Barrett House in Ripon. Beverly was born on August 14, 1928 in Dalton, WI the daughter of William and Harriet (Gerretson) Kempfer. She was united in marriage to Roman B. Jaworski on January 22, 1949 in Waupun WI. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was employed at Ripon College for over 20 years. She was respected and loved by all faculty members. During her early years at the college she challenged policies that discriminated against equal pay for women. She paved the way for women to benefit from this action.
She will be remembered most for her quirky smile, twinkling eyes, and fun sense of humor. She gave warmth and fond memories of all holidays with a decorated home, and the aroma of holiday baked goods. She loved her family and took pride in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved gardening and feeding the birds. She had a special affection for cardinals.
Beverly is survived by her two daughters: Mary Eilers and Christine Perez; two sons: Ronald and William (Tami) Jaworski; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Borst, Harriet (Art) Thompson, Ardell (Ralph) Mooney, Kathy (Ray) Montag; brothers Dick, Bill and Emil, and 7 half siblings. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roman; son, John; brothers, Carlton, Robert, Francis, Gerald, John, David; and sister, Rose.
We would like to send a special thanks to the staff of The Barrett House for the wonderful care of Beverly.
